NIKKA ZAILDAR 2 REVIEW: THIS TIME NIKKA WANTS TO MARRY TWICE

Wherein Nikka’s wedding was the main concern in the first installment of Ammy Virk starrer ‘Nikka Zaildar’, ‘Nikka Zaildar 2’ takes the excitement a notch higher when the movie starts off with the wedding ceremony of Nikka and Roop which is in continuation with where Nikka Zaildar had ended.

Things take a detour when Nikka falls in love with a school teacher played by new entrant Wamiqa Gabbi and guess what, Nikka wants his wife Roop to help him marry this school teacher. Will Nikka be able pull it off? You have to watch the movie to find out.

One thing where this film stands out is its character driven performances. Wamiqa Gabbi is surprisingly good and refreshing whereas Sonam Bajwa does perfect justice to her character Roop. Ammy Virk has one again proved that he is Punjabi cinema’s unexplored treasure who’s capable of playing much more challenging roles.

Nikka Zaildar 2 is a must watch if you like movies set in backdrop of old Punjab. Our rating, 3.5 out 5.
