"No one asked for an apology and I never apologized"- Kangana on farmers stopping her car
Kangana Ranaut has always been in news for her controversial statements but today she got into trouble. The actress was traveling from Mohali by road when her car was stopped by the protestors seeking an apology for her statement. The farmers have been protesting against the farm laws and it’s been a year, while the laws have now been repealed by the center this week.
Ms. Ranaut has earlier supported the farm laws and called the protesting farmers ‘Terrorists’, ‘Khalistanis’ and also ‘anti-social elements.
Kangana was going through the area of Keeratpur in the car where she was stopped by the protestors despite her security. The protestors stopped her car and started waving their flags and shouting slogans against her.
Of all the situations she posted stating that the mob has attacked her and abused and threatened to kill her. She openly called it ‘Mob lynching in India’. She said, “What would happen if I don't have security with me? The situation here is unbelievable. Am I a politician? What is this behavior?”
The situation went out of control for the actor as the mob was not ready to let her leave and asked her to apologize for the statements she has given against the farmers.
The situation came under control only when Kangana stepped out of the car in order to speak to the women protesters. For the statements she passed in the past she clarified it was for the Delhi Shaheen Bagh’s protestors who were protesting against the discrimination against Muslims.
Kangana contradicted her own statement as last week only she referred to the opponents of farm laws as ‘Khalistan.

In her statement last week she said, “Khalistani terrorists may be arm twisting the government today. But let's not forget one woman. The only woman prime minister ne inn ko apni jooti ke niche crush kia ,No matter how much suffering she caused to this nation she crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of her own life Lekin desh ke tukde nahi hone diye, even after decades of her death aaj bhi uske naam se kaampte hai yeh inko vaisa he guru chahiye .”
Her words fueled the situation as she labeled the whole Sikh community as ‘Khalistani Terrorists’ which was followed by a police case against her.

Kangana was allowed to leave the place only when she spoke to the farmers. In her insta story, she even mentioned she never apologized to anybody.
She wrote, “No one asked for an apology and I never apologized.. Why should I apologize, for what? For genuine love and concern for the people of Punjab? No, I will never do that.. entire conversation with the women in the mob is in my story and even on all media platforms… Don’t spread rumors, please… I always supported farmers and that’s why spoke in favor of the farmers' bill and I will continue to do so.. Jai Hind”.
