Gagan Dev Riar aces as Telgi in Hansal Mehta's new SCAM series 'Scam 2003'; His character swings in extraordinary!

After offering the Indian fanatics with a magnificent scam series 'Scam 1992', Hansal Mehta is backed with his newest addition in the SCAM franchise, 'Scam 2003' based on one of the infamous scam of the year. Released on September 1, 2023 on Sony LIV, the series revolves around the life story of Abdul Karim Telgi, who with a miraculous mastermind shook the stamp paper market with a fraud worth Rs. 30,000 crore.

Scam 2003

Previously in 2020, Hansal Mehta bought 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' into the limelight and instantly became a blockbuster series and touched 9.3/10 on IMDb. Unlike the earlier Scam story, this is yet another masterpiece ran by Hansal Mehta and directed under Tushar Hiranandani. Talking about it's storyline, Telgi who has raised to power from being a street vendor to a mindful of scammy figure scoring money out of the holes, it is a plot not much of us knew earlier! Once provoked by Abdul's friend to take some 'daring' step, he becomes ignited with the urge of earning more money and have things done by anyhow. The greediness led Telgi continue digging into the world of fraudulent which continued from 1990's to a whopping stage of 2003.

Led by Gagan Dev Riar, the character of Telgi is played in a mesmerizing mannerism. From playing the mastermind personality to characterization of his body language, he nailed it as Telgi. Full of finesse, there is zero complain on Gagan Dev Riar's calliber which bought most part of it's credibility to the thrilling show! The series itself is a riskier version of it's previous installment, kudos to the daring take of Hansal Mehta. Stamp Paper which is yet very boring in comparison with cash and money business, bringing the same among the audience is surely mind blowing decision of bringing up with a whole unique story. Telgi whose ambition knew no bounds carved seas and oceans to led his way out through all the strokes he built in his mind. 

Telgi craving ideology of money once stated, 'Peisa Kamana nahi hain, banana hain'(I don't want to earn money, I want to make it) took him to where he reached later. Not much getting deeper into the storyline for any spoiler, but just to let you know, be prepared to witness another version of intriguing scam case of the country if you are planning to watch the series this weekend. From the Streets of Karnataka to the lands of Mumbai, he tooks off with ease! The released five episodes of the series delves into the same raising prowess of Telgi and promises to dive deeper in the upcoming episodes
