Is 'Aakhri Sach' based on true story? Tamannaah Bhatia led web series to drool an enthralling tale of crime investigation

'Aakhri Sach' is an upcoming Hindi crime investigation series that is slatted to premiere this August, 2023. The movies ensembles a stellar casts that includes Tamannaah Bhatia as leading lady along-with Abhishek Banerjee, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij, Shivin Narang and Sanjeev Chopra among the notable roles. With it's screening night that took place on Wednesday evening, August 23, 2023, the thrilling web series is all set to premiere on Friday, August 25, 2023 exclusively on Disney Hotstar.

About Aakhri Sach

Inspired from the nerve wrecking case of Burari, Delhi commonly called as the 'Burari Killings' or 'Burari Deaths' of 2018, the television series is written and directed by Saurav Dey and Robbie Grewal respectively. With a promising star casts and a mind gripping thriller looking tale, it will emerge as a Hotstar special series that will unravel the mysteries led in the Burari household back in 2018. The narratives will twirl around sensitive case of the homicide that has earlier probed among numerous myths, tales and beliefs, followed by nerve rending revelations that will swoop away the Delhi investigators. 

Is it a real story?

With it's inspiration from a real life event might have thrown away the audience with the belief of 'Aakhri Sach' being a real life series but it is not. Actress Kriti Vij has cleared the urging doubts and quoted, "So ‘Aakhri Sach’ is a fictional story with fictional characters inspired by a real event which went down in history as one of the most bizarre and horrifying cases. The show follows the crime investigation that uncovers complex events and dynamics of a family." Followed by her narrative in the series, she also stated, "My role in the show is that of a girl called Anshika who is part of this family. She is someone who has a 9 to 5 job at a company. Along with that, she is also in the process of getting married to someone she has met through an arranged marriage set up.”

Meanwhile the trailer of the series was released on August 11, 2023 which has already created a storm among the eagerly awaited thrilling seekers.
