Inder Kaur death news: A shocking incident from Ludhiana has shocked the Punjabi music industry and fans across Punjab. Emerging Punjabi singer Inder Kaur, also known as Yashinder Kaur, was allegedly murdered days after being kidnapped at gunpoint.

According to reports, the singer’s body was recovered from the Neelon canal near Samrala, Punjab. Her body has been kept at the Samrala Civil Hospital, where family members were called for identification. The heartbreaking news has left her family and supporters in deep grief.

Who is Inder Kaur?

Inder Kaur was becoming a popular face in the Punjabi music industry. She had gained attention for her regional music performances and her growing fan following on social media. The young singer was known for songs like Sone Di Chirhi, Jija, Sohna Lagda, and Desi Sirre Da, among others. Her energetic style and local music appeal had helped her build a strong connection with Punjabi audiences.

Police had registered an FIR on May 15 after a complaint was filed by her brother, Jotinder Singh. In the complaint, he accused Sukhwinder Singh, also known as Sukha, and his associate Karamjit Singh of kidnapping his sister.

As per the family’s statement, Inder Kaur had left home on May 13 around 8:30 PM in her Ford Figo car to buy groceries from the market. However, she never returned home, which caused panic in the family and led them to search for her.

During the search, the family reportedly discovered that the singer knew Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Bhallur village in Moga district. The complainant alleged that Sukha wanted to marry Inder Kaur, but she had rejected his proposal.

The brother further claimed that after the crime, the main accused escaped to Canada. He also alleged that the accused had recently returned to Punjab from Canada before the incident.

Police officials have said that the investigation is still ongoing and further action will be taken based on the findings. The incident has once again raised concerns over women’s safety and rising crime in the region.
