PTC Network Launching 3 New Channels 'PTC Gold', 'PTC Simran', 'PTC Music' Soon. Details Here

PTC Network, world's No 1 Punjabi Television Network, will be launching three more channels apart from the present three under its umbrella. 'PTC Gold, 'PTC Simran' and 'PTC Music' are the channels which viewers would be enjoying on their TV screens very soon.

PTC Network's President and MD, Rabindra Narayan announced the launch of these three channels to promote Punjabi culture, Punjabi lifestyle, Punjabi language, and Punjabi Virsa.

"PTC Network is launching three more channels as a gift to our loyal viewers," Rabindra Narayan said in an interview with a leading daily.

'PTC Gold will be a treat for sports lovers as it will showcase sports related programmes such as CWE Big Fight, Kabaddi matches and hockey matches among others," Rabindra Narayan added.

Talking about the 'PTC Simran', Rabindra Narayan said: 'PTC Simran is going to be a 24-hour channel devoted to promote Sikh religion. Live telecast of Gurbani from different gurudwaras will be the USP of this channel. Besides, it will also teach history related to Sikh pilgrimage."

Questioning on why the network needs a new music channel, the president said: "We are launching PTC Music channel on the special request of the audience. More than 2800 songs were released recently and they could not be played on just one channel. Hence, there was a need of another music channel."

Rabindra Narayan also said that PTC doesn’t run behind TRP as this is the only Punjabi channel that doesn’t broadcast songs related to drugs, weapons, and those against women.
