'Chup' actor Dulquer Salmaan won his first ever Bollywood award; Shares his feeling on twitter

Dulquer Salmaan, the newest star of the Bollywood industry is getting fame like none. Recently, The actor received the Dadasaheb Phalke International Awards 2023 for the 'Best Actor' negative role in 'Chup'. An immaculate achievement for such a fresh face in B-town! This is Dulquer's first ever Hindi Award.

The actor did his first Bollywood debut with the 2018 movie 'Karwaan'. A comedy drama starring Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and 'Little Things' actress Mithila Palkar. The movie received mixed reviews from the audience and able to gain 7.6/10 on IMDb.

The actor felt extremely happy for the achievement and seen sharing his snippets with the trophy on his twitter handle. He wrote "This one felt special! Big thanks to the jury of @Dpiff_official @abhialmish for the honor. and all thanks to my dearest Balki sir for giving me Danny. this one's for the entire team of #Chup". while sharing on Instagram, the actor wrote "So the one person I truly need to thank for this is Balki sir. I don't know how he saw me as Danny, but he did. And the conviction he had in me, his guidance and vision was everything for me. Thank you, sir and all my wonderful costars, the best crew and everyone at @hopeprodn for giving me the best experience on #Chup. This one is for all of you".

'Chup: Revenge of the Artist' is a crime-thriller, R. Balki directed movie that came in 2022. Dulquer starred the movie in a negative role along with other prominent actors like Sunny Deol, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt  

Not only in 'Chup', Dulquer's acting skill was hugely applauded in the 2022 movie of 'Sita Raman', leading opposite to Mrunal Thakur. The movie full of romance, drama and emotion won people's heart instantly. Critics accepted the Amazon Prime movie with warmth and pleasure and rated 8.6/10 on IMDb. The star is clearly moving on a successful path of conquering goals.
