Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur ties the knot with Mittali Parulkar; shares dreamy wedding pictures

Shardul Thakur news: Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur tied the knot with better half Mittali Thakur on February 27. He married his long-time girlfriend Mittali Parulkar who is an entrepreneur in a traditional  Marathi wedding and the wedding took place in Mumbai. Their pictures took the internet by storm.

Indian Cricketer Shardul Thakur ties the knot with Mittali Parulkar 

The cricketer took to his Instagram and shared a slew of pictures of their dreamy wedding. However, the couple chose to wear traditional outfits. For their big day, Shardul wore an embroidered beige sherwani while Parul opted for a red lehenga with heavy embroidery, then she wore a kundan set including a statement necklace, earrings and headband. Further, talking about the wedding was attended by family members and close friends which included Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer and Abhishek Nayar in attendance.

After sharing the pictures, the cricketer captioned a heartfelt message which read “I learnt to appreciate your light when I encountered your shadow! In good times and in bad, in happy and sad, I promise to be by your friend, from now till the end!”. 

As soon as he posted the pictures online, his social media was filled with congratulatory messages pouring in from all sides. Some wrote ‘congratulations for the new beginning’, some wrote ‘showers of blessings and love to the adorable couple’ and some dropped heart emoticons.

For the unversed, Shardul and Mittali have been dating for a long period. The duo got engaged in 2021. Then, they decided to take their relationship to the next level and got married.
