'Selfiee': Akshay Kumar creates a Guinness World record for taking most selfies in just 3 minutes
'Selfiee': Actor Akshay Kumar enjoys a huge global fan base, so as a special thanks to them, he has gone ahead and accomplished the unthinkable—he has broken a Guinness World Record! At a meet-and-greet with fans scheduled in Mumbai, Maharashtra, for the promotion of his next film Selfiee, which comes out on February 24, 2023, superstar Akshay Kumar today broke the Guinness World Records record for the number of selfies clicked in three minutes.
The celebrity, who is well-known for his controversial antics and notable accomplishments, is currently the holder of the Guinness World Record for this unique achievement of taking 184 selfies.

On January 22, 2018, while aboard the Carnival Dream cruise ship, Akshay Kumar beat James Smith's (USA) previously-held world record of 168 self-portrait photos (selfies) taken in three minutes. At the San Andreas movie premiere in London in 2015, global icon and Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson set a record for the most self-portrait photos taken in a three-minute period.
