Qismat Director Jagdeep Sidhu Turns Dialogue Writer For Anurag Kashyap's Film. Details Here

Jagdeep Sidhu is one of the most prolific Punjabi movie writers, who have written story, screenplay, and dialogue for movies like ‘Nikka Zaildar’, ‘Qismat’ among other super hit movies. He made his directorial debut with Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta starring ‘Qismat’, and garnered immense love. Jagdeep is all set to enter Bollywood with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ as he has written the dialogues for the movie.

According to Times of India, Qismat director Jagdeep Sidhu has turned dialogue writer for Anurag Kashyap’s next ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. This will be his first Bollywood project after writing blockbuster scripts for Punjabi industry.

Jagdeep Sidhu won the award for best debut director at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2019, while his movie 'Qismat' bagged the best film (Critics) award.

‘Saand Ki Aankh’ features Bhumi Pednekar, Tapsee Pannu, and Prakash Jha in the lead role. Based on the life of ‘Revolver Dadis’ of Johri Village in Uttar Pradesh, the movie is slated to release this year. Currently, the shooting of the movie is going on in Uttar Pradesh.
