Raju Srivastava death: From Bollywood celebs to politicians, India mourns comedian's demise

Raju Srivastava's death: In a sad piece of news, the comedian-actor Raju Srivastava took his heavenly abode on September 21 at AIIMS in Delhi. The actors passed away at the age of 58 and left the entire nation in shock.

As per the reports, Raju Srivastav was admitted to the hospital on August 10 after experiencing chest pain while he was working out in the gym.

As soon as the news of Raju Srivastava's death surfaced on social media, the Bollywood celebs and politicians joined the entire nation to the express grief over actor's demise.

Union Minister of Road and Transport, Nitin Gadkari wrote, "Anguished to hear about the demise of Comedy Legend Raju Srivastav Ji. An Entertainer par Excellence, his mannerisms & observational comedy truly mirrored the daily life of us Indians. My condolences to his family members. Om Shanti."

PM Narendra Modi also penned a heartfelt note which reads, "Raju Srivastava brightened our lives with laughter, humour and positivity. He leaves us too soon but he will continue to live in the hearts of countless people thanks to his rich work over the years. His demise is saddening. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti."

"Heartbreaking... Friend, well-wisher, neighbour #RajuSrivastava ji, you will be missed... Om Shanti," wrote film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. 

Vicky Kaushal also expressed his grief over the huge loss.

Raju Srivastava was on a ventilator and in a critical state. Srivastava had reportedly collapse at the gym after which he was taken to the hospital by his trainer.
