Raju Srivastava health update: Comedian still on 'ventilator', family issues statement

Raju Srivastava health update: Amid reports that Raju Srivastava has gained consciousness, the comedian's family has denied all such claims and issued a statement regarding the same.

Earlier in the day,  Raju Srivastava’s Personal Secretary Garvit Narag claimed that the comedian’s health condition is improving. However, Kushal denied all such claims about the comedian.

In the meanwhile, Raju Srivastava’s daughter Antara Srivastava shared an official statement on social media.

The statement reads, "Dear all well-wishers, My dad Mr. Raju Srivastava Ji's condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on a ventilator at the moment."

It further made it clear that "Only statements from AIIMS Delhi and Raju Ji's official social media accounts are trustworthy and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable."

"The doctors and their entire team at AIIMS Delhi are working hard and diligently. We're thankful to them and all his well-wishers. Request you all to continue your love and prayers for his speedy recovery," it concluded.

Raju's health had recently deteriorated and there were numerous claims that his brain had stopped functioning. Additionally, his co-star Sunil Pal had also appealed to the public to pray for him.

There were also other death-related rumours floating around as well but Raju's family had rubbished all the reports and asked people to stop spreading rumours.
