Ranbir Kapoor apologizes for his 'comment' on wife Alia Bhatt's pregnancy

Ranbir Kapoor apologizes: Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Chennai for the promotion of his ucoming movie 'Brahmastra'. The film marks the onscreen debut of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor together. During a recent event, Ranbir Kapoor apologized for a 'comment' on Alia Bhatt's pregnancy made by him recently.

In one of the Live sessions on YouTube earlier, Ranbir Kapoor, unintentionally, passed a 'comment' on Alia Bhatt's weight gain due to pregnancy. While it was not judged by the actress Alia Bhatt, the netizens started mocking Ranbir for hurting the sentiments of many.

Since people were upset with Ranbir Kapoor, he was recently asked if he would like to explain what he said. He quickly publicly apologized and said, "Yes, absolutely. Firstly, let me start with, I love my wife with everything that I have in my life. And what happened on that, I think it's a joke which didn't turn out to be funny. I really want to apologize if I have triggered anyone. It was not my intention."

He further said, "So I want to say sorry to people who got offended or triggered. I spoke to Alia about it and she really laughed it off and she didn't mind it. But I do have a bad sense of humour and sometimes it falls flat on my own face. So I am sorry if I have hurt anyone about it."

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Brahmastra' will be released in all South languages- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada which will be presented by the pioneer of South Indian films SS Rajamouli.

Helmed by Ayan Mukherji 'Brahmastra' is touted to be one of the big budget films of the year with stellar actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and others.

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra' is scheduled to release on September 9.
