Ranveer Singh Nude Photoshoot Row: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who received a major outrage for his recent photoshoot without clothes, was summoned by Mumbai Police at Chembur Police Station on Monday.

In the meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has sought two weeks’ time to appear before Mumbai police in connection with the FIR filed over the photoshoot row. The FIR was filed against Ranveer Singh over his recent shoot on the basis of a complaint registered by the Maharashtra State Commission for Women.

As per the news agency ANI, the Chembur police station had summoned actor Ranveer Singh, in connection with the nude photoshoot row, asking the actor to appear on August 22.

ANI also stated that Ranveer has asked a time of 2 weeks to appear before the police and that a fresh summon will be sent by the Chembur police after deciding a new date.

It may be recalled that Ranveer Singh posed for Paper Magazine in July after which the Maharashtra State Commission for Women had filed a complaint against the actor.

As per the report, Advocate Ashish Rai had stated in the complaint that the said photoshoot of Ranveer Singh was circulated through social media. The FIR was registered against the actor under IPC and IT Act.
