Raveena Tandon, a Bollywood actress, has spoken out about Katrina Kaif being filmed for the remix song Tip Tip Barsa Pani.
The song 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani' is a song from the 1994 film 'Mohra,' which starred Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar. Although Akshay was featured in the remix, however, Raveena was replaced by Katrina Kaif. The song was released as part of the soundtrack for the film 'Sooryavanshi,' which was released lately.
When the remix 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani' was released, however, some critics claimed that it was better than Raveena Tandon's original song. Some people are outraged that the original song is being tampered with at this time. However, it appears from Raveena's statement that she is pleased that the fear of women of a particular age in Bollywood is fading and that new changes are developing.
Raveena believes that the remix is a win-win situation because the song now has a new beat and a new life. Raveena revealed all of this in an interview with Anupama Chopra.
The legendary actress spoke out on the topic of the appearance of female artists in Bollywood as well. One of humanity's worst vices is body shaming. Thankfully, Raveena Tandon believes that the days of being body-shamed are over. When questioned if women are under any pressure to appear a specific way, she denied it without any flaw.
She concluded further by saying that the song is being loved by the youth, and states, “In the end, I kind of end up owning them all over again.”
Raveena rose to fame in the 1990s thanks to a series of hits. She is currently starring in the Netflix thriller series 'Aranyak,' in which she plays a cop. In the show, co-created by Rohan Sippy and Charudutt Acharya, she appears with Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Ashutosh Rana.
Following that, she will appear in 'KGF: Chapter 2' and an untitled Reliance Entertainment project.
