RRR: SS Rajamouli's much awaited film 'RRR' gets a release date

The wait is finally over. RRR, director SS Rajamouli's long-awaited magnum opus, now has a release date. The film, starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, will be released in theatres on January 7, 2022.

Alia Bhatt shared a poster with the three leads as well as Ajay Devgn, who plays a pivotal role in the film, on Instagram.

The Telugu-language film, starring south stars Ram Charan and N T Rama Rao Jr, is a fictional story based on the lives of two freedom fighters in the early twentieth century: Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR).

The team revealed the first look of Alia Bhatt as Sita in RRR on her birthday in March. Alia appears in the poster wearing a traditional south Indian saree, her hair in a long braid, and minimal make-up. Alia kept the caption simple when she shared the photo, writing, "Sita."

The film includes  stellar actors from various industries which includes, NTR Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt. RRR is directed by India's most celebrated filmmaker, SS Rajamouli, and produced by DVV Danayya.
