Shah Rukh Khan has been working out hard in the gym as part of his preparation to return to Pathan with a jam-packed schedule. And now, reports are surfacing that, SRK is set to begin a new schedule for this Siddharth Anand-directed high-octane action spectacle in mid-December.
The movie also stars Deepika Padukone as the film’s leading lady whereas, John Abraham will be seen as the antagonist in the same. Shah Rukh and Deepika will be seen sharing the screen together after their massive hit Chennai Express.
According to the news, the crew will film on a closed set in Mumbai. To prepare for the upcoming schedule, the actor has been going to the gym and working out for the same sequences. Although the producers intend to film grand sequences during their international tour, the exact dates will be determined in the coming weeks. For the time being, the producers are concentrating on the Mumbai schedule.
The film began filming last year, but Shah Rukh Khan has yet to make an official announcement about it. Aside from 'Pathan,' the superstar has also agreed to play the lead in director Atlee's next film. The film is touted as an action thriller, with Nayanthara playing the lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Following the completion of Pathan, Shah Rukh Khan will proceed on to director Atlee's next project, which is said to be an action thriller set in the context of a heist. The film will be shot over the course of 160 days next year and will star SRK in a dual role. The actor is also working on Rajkumar Hirani's next, which will begin once he is no longer in action mode.
