Sidhu Moose Wala shot dead in Mansa

Sidhu Moose Wala Death: The day after the Punjab Government withdrew his security cover, the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Mansa on Sunday.

According to the information, Congress leader and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unknown people in Mansa district. As many as three people, including Sidhu, were injured in the firing incident.

"Congress leader and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was brought dead," said Dr Ranjeet Rai, Civil Surgeon, Mansa Hospital.

The news of Sidhu Moose Wala's death left everybody in shock.

This comes just a day after the Punjab Police withdrew the security cover of 424 people, including Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

It may be recalled that Sidhu Moose Wala had contested the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 on a Congress ticket from Mansa where he was defeated by AAP’s Dr Vijay Singla with a margin of 63,323 votes.

He had joined the Congress party in November last year. While Congress has granted him a ticket from the Mansa Assembly constituency, the then sitting MLA, Nazar Singh Manshahia, had revolted against the decision. He had said that he would oppose the candidature of the controversial singer.

This is indeed one of the biggest news for Punjab and the whole Punjab is shocked over Sidhu Moose Wala's sudden death. As of now, no one has taken the responsibility for the attack and people still want to know what happened or who did it.
