Sushmita Sen gives it back to trollers; says, 'I dig deeper than Gold'

Sushmita Sen gives a befitting reply to trolls: Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen is making headlines currently for her relationship with IPL founder Lalit Modi. Ever since the two have announced their relationship publicly, they have been subject to the unhealthy trolls and memes on social media. However, Sushmita slayed with a befitting reply which she had for the trollers who referred as 'Gold digger'.

Sushmita Sen who never ceased from being outspoken took to her social media account and shared a picture of herself. In the picture, Sushmita can be seen standing alone right in the middle of the infinity pool and she captioned the same as, "The so called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies….the ignorant with their cheap & at times funny gossip ? The friends I never had & the acquaintances I’ve never met….all sharing their grand opinions & deep knowledge of my life & character…monetising the ‘Gold Digger’ all the way!!! ?? Ah these geniuses!!!

She further stated, "I dig deeper than Gold…and I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!!??❤️And yes I still buy them myself!!!"

The former Miss Universe was applauded by several celebs and fans for her bold statement for the trolls. From Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Dia Mirza, from Ranveer Singh to Suniel Shetty, everyone hailed appreciation to the actress.

Previously, Lalit Modi too reacted on being trolled for dating Sushmita. In a post on his social media account, he wrote, "We are still living in the Middle Ages when 2 people can't be friends and then if chemistry is right and timing is good - Magic can happen."

For the unversed, Lalit Modi announced of dating Sushmita Sen on July 14. He shared a slew of pictures from their recent holiday and some shots from the old days of IPL.
