Complaint Filed Against Astrologer for Predictions on Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's Split
In the ever-glittering world of Indian cinema, the recent engagement of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala has set the media ablaze. The duo, who had carefully shielded their relationship from the public eye for the past two years, finally made headlines with their big announcement. This significant revelation comes after Naga Chaitanya's highly publicized marriage and subsequent separation from actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a relationship that had once been idolized by fans. Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Engagement
As the news of Chaitanya and Sobhita's engagement spread, it was met with mixed reactions. While many fans celebrated the couple’s happiness, others were quick to express their dissatisfaction, especially those who still lament Chaitanya's previous marriage. This wave of disapproval, unfortunately, opened the floodgates for negativity, with critics honing in on Chaitanya’s past rather than celebrating his present.
Amidst the joy and the scrutiny, an unexpected twist in the tale emerged. An astrologer named Venu Swamy, notorious for his predictions on celebrity relationships, landed in legal trouble after a viral video of his began circulating on social media. In this video, Swamy boldly predicted that Chaitanya and Sobhita’s relationship would face turbulence, leading to a split in 2027 due to the involvement of another woman. This sensational claim quickly sparked outrage, not only among fans but also within the industry.
The Telugu Film Journalist Association, taking a strong stance against such unfounded predictions, lodged a formal complaint against Swamy. The association accused him of stirring unnecessary controversy and infringing on the couple's privacy. Swamy, sensing the storm his words had brewed, soon released a clarification video on Instagram. He claimed that his predictions were merely an extension of his earlier forecasts about Chaitanya’s previous marriage with Samantha. Swamy further vowed to abstain from making any future predictions about film stars and politicians, citing a conversation with MAA President Manchu Vishnu as his motivation to steer clear of such predictions in the future.

The controversy, however, did little to dampen the spirits of the newly engaged couple. Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, took to his social media platform to share the joyous news of his son's engagement. In a heartfelt post, he shared pictures of the soon-to-be-married couple and expressed his delight in welcoming Sobhita into the family. Nagarjuna’s message was filled with love and blessings for the couple, wishing them a lifetime of happiness.
