Samantha Ruth Prabhu has emerged as a commanding force in the entertainment industry, garnering acclaim across South Indian cinema and Bollywood. Despite yet to make her formal Bollywood debut, her robust fan base attests to her growing influence. Samantha's prominence significantly surged with her acclaimed role in Season 2 of The Family Man. As she embarks on a new venture, she is set to star in the highly anticipated web series Citadel alongside Varun Dhawan. Reports indicate that Samantha's remuneration for this project is substantial, with suggestions that her fee has risen notably.
Samantha's ascent to stardom has been far from straightforward. Hailing from a modest, non-film background, she encountered considerable financial challenges early in her life. To support herself and her family, she initially ventured into modelling, a decision that laid the groundwork for her eventual foray into acting.
Samantha's financial difficulties were acute. Coming from a middle-class family, she was unable to pursue further education after completing her 12th grade due to a lack of financial resources. At times, she struggled to afford even basic necessities such as food. During this period of hardship, her talent was fortuitously discovered by filmmaker Ravi Verman, leading to a crucial audition that set her on a transformative path.
As for Citadel, Samantha is reportedly commanding a fee of 10 crores INR for her role. The teaser for the series has already been unveiled, generating considerable excitement ahead of its premiere on November 7 on Prime Video. The series promises an intriguing collaboration between Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan, complemented by a stellar ensemble cast including K. K. Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majumdar, Saqib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.
