Ved movie: Bollywood actor Genelia D Souza is making her comeback to the silver screens with her husband Riteish Deshmukh. The couple has reunited for their upcoming Marathi movie 'Ved' which also marks Genelia's debut in the Marathi industry and Riteish's directorial debut.

Ever since the film's announcement, fans were eager for the film's first look. Finally, Genelia and Riteish have delighted their fans with the first-look posters of their upcoming Marathi movie 'Ved'.

Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh, both have major roles in the much-awaited film. Riteish shared a few first-look posters for the movie on his social media accounts along with the release date.

The actor-director posted a couple of movie posters from the production with subtitles in Marathi that included special messages from him and Genelia.

The message can be translated as “I was born in Maharashtra. After I started acting, I did films in different languages like Hindi-Tamil-Telugu. I got immense love from the audience there. I am making my Marathi film debut with Ritesh’s first directorial venture. Working in Marathi, I feel like I have come full circle.”

According to the early posters, he also plays the lead in the movie. In Marathi, Genelia wrote a heartfelt letter. Riteish can be seen smoking in the posters while Genelia appears to be thinking deeply.

'Ved' is written by Sandeep S Patil and Rushikesh Turai collectively. The movie is backed by Genelia D Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, Siddharth Ghadage, and Sandeep S. Patil respectively.

Apart from Genelia and Riteish, the movie also features Ravi Raj Kande, Salman Khan, Ashok Saraf, Jiya Shankar, and Shubhankar Tawde in significant roles.

Meanwhile, it is slated for its theatrical release on December 30.
