Vikram Gokhale health updates: Actor on life support system, says hospital officials

Vikram Gokhale health updates: Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale is still in serious condition and works in both cinema and television. The well-known actor, who has appeared in movies like 'Bhool Bhulaiya' and 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', was previously hospitalised.

Following health issues, Vikram was admitted to a private hospital in Pune, according to the physicians. Vikram Gokhale is currently experiencing multiple organ failure, according to a very close family friend who recently provided an update on his health. A formal statement from the Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital also mentioned that the actor is in support of a ventilator.

Several Bollywood stars, including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Aly Goni, and Jaaved Jaafery, among others, flocked to Twitter to offer their condolences as a rumour about the veteran's death spread on social media in the early hours of Thursday.

The renowned actor's death was rumoured to have occurred, but Dr. Dhananjay Kelkar of the Deenanth Mangeshkar Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment, stated it was "not true."

However, Gokhale's daughter "He is still critically ill, and is still alive. Keep offering prayers for him."

In the Amitabh Bachchan-starring 1971 movie "Parwana," the actor made his film debut at the age of 26. Gokhale has had a more than 40-year acting career and has been in a number of Marathi and Bollywood movies, including 'Agneepath,' with Amitabh Bachchan in 1990, and 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,' with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 1999.
