Butter Garlic Naan and Amritsari Kulcha Represent India in the Top 50 Breads Worldwide
Indian flatbreads are incredibly delicious, and they've just received some well-deserved recognition! A famous food guide called Taste Atlas recently released a list of the top 50 breads from all around the world. Guess what? Indian breads like Butter Garlic Naan, Amritsari Kulcha, Roti, and Paratha made it to the list.
Butter Garlic Naan scored in the 3rd position on the list. Interestingly, this isn't the first time it has received praise. It was also ranked second in a previous list of the best flatbreads in the world by Taste Atlas. This naan, with its garlic flavor and generous buttery topping, is undoubtedly one of the most mouthwatering breads you can find.
Even the simple Plain Naan made it to the list at the 8th spot, which is pretty impressive considering it's a basic version of the Naan.
Paratha also earned a place on both lists, and that doesn't come as a surprise to us. This breakfast staple has the power to impress anyone with its taste.
Amritsari Kulcha, with its hearty and satisfying flavors, deservedly found its spot on the list as well. Our humble Roti, the everyday Indian diet essential, was ranked just below Amritsari Kulcha in the 27th position.
Now, the top spot on the list went to Roti Canai, a popular flatbread from Malaysia. The list also featured other delicious breads from different parts of the world, like Colombia's Pan De Bono, Roti Prata, Talo, Nan-e Shirmal, Lavash, Somun, and many more. It's great to see these diverse and tasty breads getting the recognition they deserve!
