The incredible life of former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is set to have his remarkable life story on the big screen, capturing both his legendary exploits on the cricket field and the brave battles he waged off it.

This highly anticipated biopic is the brainchild of renowned producer Bhushan Kumar and acclaimed filmmaker Ravi Bhagchandka, who have joined forces to bring Yuvraj Singh’s story to audiences worldwide.

Yuvraj Singh Announces His Biopic 

Yuvraj Singh, a name synonymous with cricketing brilliance, expressed his deep honour at having his life’s journey depicted in a film that will reach millions of fans across the globe. Reflecting on his career and personal battles, Yuvraj said, "Cricket has been my greatest love and source of strength through all the highs and lows. I hope this film inspires others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams with unwavering passion."

Bhushan Kumar, known for his successful films like Animal, Srikanth, Drishyam 2, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, shared his excitement about the project. He highlighted how the film will delve into Yuvraj’s remarkable achievements, from his unforgettable six sixes in the 2007 T20 World Cup to his heroic fight against cancer. "Yuvraj Singh's life is a compelling narrative of resilience, triumph, and passion," Kumar remarked. "His journey from a promising cricketer to a cricketing hero, and then to a hero in real life, is truly inspiring. I am thrilled to bring a story that needs to be told and heard through the big screen and to celebrate his extraordinary achievements."

Ravi Bhagchandka, co-producer of the biopic and known for his work on Sachin: A Billion Dreams and Sitaare Zameen Par, shares a special bond with Yuvraj. "Yuvraj has been a dear friend for many years," Bhagchandka said. "I'm honored that he trusted us to translate his incredible cricketing journey into a cinematic experience. Yuvi is not just a world champion but a true legend in every sense of the word."

Yuvraj Singh’s career is nothing short of extraordinary. Starting at just 13 years old in the Punjab Under-16 cricket team, he quickly rose through the ranks, representing India in 402 international games from 2000 to 2017. With 11,178 runs, 17 centuries, and 71 fifties to his name, Yuvraj was instrumental in India’s victories in the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy, the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup, and the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Yuvraj's crowning moment came during the 2011 World Cup, where he was named 'Player of the Tournament' for his outstanding performance—scoring 362 runs, including a century and four half-centuries, and taking 15 wickets. However, it was his battle with cancer in 2011, followed by a remarkable comeback, that solidified his status as a true hero both on and off the field.
