Shah Rukh Khan's Emotional Celebration: Kolkata Knight Riders Win IPL Trophy After 10 Years
The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) clinched their third IPL title after a decade-long wait, and the celebrations were nothing short of heartwarming. KKR's co-owner, Shah Rukh Khan, was at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai with his entire family, despite being released just three days earlier. Shah Rukh had been admitted in Ahmedabad for a heatstroke.
In a moment of pure joy, Shah Rukh was seen in happy tears as KKR lifted the trophy. His daughter, Suhana Khan, rushed to hug him, asking, "Are you happy?" Shah Rukh kissed and hugged her, and soon, his youngest son, AbRam, joined in. The family moment continued as his eldest son, Aryan, also embraced his father, creating a touching scene in the stands.
Despite his recent hospitalization, Shah Rukh wore his team's jersey and enthusiastically cheered for KKR. He had been travelling extensively with the team during the two-month-long IPL season, which concluded with this triumphant victory.
Shah Rukh also shared a special moment with his wife, Gauri, kissing her as they celebrated bringing home the trophy. After the win, he took a victory lap and posed with the trophy alongside co-owner Juhi Chawla, who sported a T-shirt with "Champions" written on it.

The joyous occasion saw Shah Rukh with his family, including wife Gauri, children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, his manager Pooja Dadlani and her daughter, as well as actors Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor. Juhi and Shah Rukh's triumphant poses with the trophy highlighted the celebration.
KKR's victory seemed almost certain after Sunrisers Hyderabad's lackluster performance in the final. When the inevitable win happened, the KKR camp burst into jubilant celebrations, with some shedding tears of joy. Suhana, who had traveled to support KKR throughout the campaign, was emotional after the match. She hugged her father, asking if he was happy, while her brothers Aryan and AbRam joined in the heartfelt moment.
This win marks KKR's third IPL title, having previously won in 2012 and 2014 under Gautam Gambhir's leadership. Gambhir returned to the franchise as a mentor before the start of this season, adding to the team's inspiring journey to victory.
