Numerous internet users criticised the artist for his behaviour and said that the model showed signs of discomfort. As a result, the actor has clarified the situation and stated that it was "planned".
He was seen spinning her on stage in a video of this that has been circulating on social media. Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas assisted Gigi, who was wearing an Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla saree, in leaving the stage while holding her hands.
He also kissed her on the cheeks. The internet is still divided about Varun's behaviour as a result of this action.
The actor has currently reacted to a Tweet. It was stated that the removed post said, “If you are a woman, you are not safe anywhere with anyone. Even if you are Gigi Hadid, invited to a party with an “elite" crowd, guys like Varun Dhawan will randomly pick you up and kiss you without your consent, all in the name of fun. Disgusting."
Responding to this, Varun wrote, “I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather then going out and doing something about things . Good morning"
