'Aardaas 2': Gippy Grewal To Direct Another Social Drama After 'Ardaas'

Gippy Grewal’s first movie as a director was 2016 release ‘Ardaas’ and the actor cum singer was praised for his work in the same. Now, the artist has announced the sequel of this movie ‘Ardaas 2’ will be helmed by him. It is slated to release in the year 2019.

‘Ardaas’ was written by Gippy Grewal and Rana Ranbir, but the sequel is penned down by the former only. However, this movie will be made under his direction. Also, it will be produced under the name of Gippy’s maiden production house.

This movie will bring Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta together for the first time. It will be a romantic drama.

In an interview with a well renowned newspaper website, Gippy Grewal’s spokesperson said that ‘the movie is yet again based on a social message and is rich in content just like the previous part. However, the subject addressed this time will be different. The shooting of the same is soon to go on floors.’

On the work front, Gippy Grewal is busy with the shoot of ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’. On the musical front, Gippy is planning to the surprise the audience with his single tracks soon.
