Punjabi singer Deep Sidhu who is known for numerous Punjabi songs and numerous films has passed away in a road accident. The heartbreaking news came as a shock to everyone on Tuesday late evening. As per the sources, the singer-actor was driving a Scorpio car when it collided with a truck near Delhi on the Kundli-Manesar Highway.
According to rumors, Deep was traveling with two other people, one of them was a woman. Deep Sidhu was one of two people who died on the site, according to reports.
Deep Sidhu was on trial for inciting the violence that erupted on Republic Day last year at the Red Fort.
Around 8:30 p.m., the accident happened near the Singhu border, which was the epicentre of last year's farmer protests. He was critically injured and died enroute to the hospital.

According to police officials, Deep Sidhu's body has been transferred to the Sonepat Civil Hospital for an autopsy.
Numerous Punjabi celebs and friends of Deep Sidhu have showered condolences for the actor.
Last year, Deep Sidhu made the headlines when he was accused of hoisting the Nishan Sahib at the Red Fort on Republic Day 2021.
The singer-actor began his acting career at the age of 31. The song that made him popular was Jora 10 Numbaria which was released in 2017.
