Ae Halo! 'Daya Ben' to return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Disha Vakani TMKOC News: Ae Halo! Our very own 'Daya Ben' is all set to return to the popular sitcom Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The news has made TMKOC fans excited as everybody is waiting to see Dayaben doing 'Garbha'.

TMKOC fans were waiting to hear the news that Disha Vakani aka 'Daya Ben' will return to the show.  Finally, the show's producer Asit Kumar Modi confirmed that the show will see 'Daya Ben' later this year.

As per ETimes, he said, they all have faced difficult times in the past, especially the 2020-21 phase was very tough for them.

However, things have got better, he said, adding that in 2022 they will soon bring back the character of Daya Ben and the audience will once again get to see the entertainment of 'Jethalal and Daya Bhabhi'.

Interestingly, the producer said it was still not finalised who will be playing Daya Ben. The producer said that he was not sure if Disha Vakani will be back as Daya Ben as she is married and has a kid and "everyone gets busy with their own responsibilities."

He further said that whosoever it will be but the audience will surely get to see Daya Ben and that they will try their best to give the same entertainment.

It may be recalled that Disha Vakani had gone on indefinite maternity leave in 2017 and since then, the character of Daya ben has been missing from Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Notably, the actress has not officially quit the show.
