'Ae Watan Mere Watan' movie first teaser out, Sara plays freedom fighter role - watch

Sara Ali Khan news: Sara Ali Khan has proven herself as a phenomenal actor in a very short period. Recently, her upcoming movie 'Ae Watan Mere Watan's' first look was released.

Sara Ali Khan will be seen playing the role of a strong freedom fighter. The movie is said to be inspired by true events and is directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Karan Johar.

However, the teaser begins with the young girl who draws the curtains and rushes to set up a radio device in a dark room. Then the camera reveals that the girl which  is Sara Ali Khan who confidently takes the mic and says that the Britishers think they have ruined the Quit India Movement.

But they seem to be unware of  India's voice that can never be suppressed and would echo everywhere in the country. Then, there is consistent banging on the door which scares Sara.

Further, the movie depicts a college girl who later joined Quit India Movement and strives to become a freedom fighter. Talking about the movie it is inspiring and salutes the bravery of all the freedom fighters. The story is about courage, sacrifice and patriotism.

Lastly, the director seemed to be proud of making the movie and directing a story which is based on true events.
