Amitabh Bachchan gets emotional to see his 21 years journey of Kaun Banega Crorepati

It’s been 21 years ago when Amitabh Bachchan opened up the show Kaun Banega Crorepati and now the show has completer 1000 episodes.

To make the episode a special one for the show’s host Amitabh Bachchan was accompanied by his daughter Shweta Bachchan and Granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. The two were guests on the show, who were accompanied by their mother Jaya Bachchan through a video call.

Shweta Bachchan asked how her dad felt on completion of the show in reply to which he said, “Darasal, ikkis saal ho gaye hain. San 2000 mein iski shuruat hui thi. Aur uss samay humko pata nahi tha. Sab log keh rahe they ke aap film se television mein jaa rahe hain, bade parde se chhote parde par aa rahe hain, aapki image ko nuksaan hoga.”

"Lekin humari apni kuch paristhitiyan aisi thi ke mujhe laga ke filmon mein kaam jo hai wohh mil nahi raha tha, lekin pehle broadcast ke baad jiss tarah ke reaction aane shuru hue, phir aisa laga ke puri duniya badal gayi hai.”

While speaking about his journey, Amitabh Bachchan got emotional and broke down teary-eyed. The actor also mentioned that with the show he has learned a lot of things from the contestants and also gone through various emotions hearing their stories.

After saying a few words about the show, the journey of 21 years of KBC was played featuring Amitabh’s special moments.

The ongoing show is currently running its 13th season. From the very start of the show, it has been hosted by Amitabh except for the season third which was hosted by Shahrukh Khan. Until season 6 the final prize money was kept Rs. 1 crore but from the 7th Season it was increased to Rs. 7 crores.

Apart from this show, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in films titled ‘Goodbye’, ‘Runway 34’, ‘Jhund’, ‘Brahmastra’ and Hindi version of ‘The Intern’.
