Mumbai Police shares statement: Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma recently made news for riding motorcycles. They were praised for abandoning cars instead of motorcycles, but now they are in trouble. The two stars could be seen seated on the seats without helmets. The Mumbai Police has taken notice of this and informed the traffic section of the situation.

Amitabh Bachchan claimed that the driver dropped him off on time, which helped him avoid delays caused by heavy traffic in Mumbai. One day later, Anushka Sharma was also spotted riding a bike after a roadblock with her security. But both images received criticism from social media users who questioned why the celebrities were not wearing helmets.

The Mumbai Traffic Police were criticised by certain users. The force reacted when these users asked where "further action" should be taken.
