Kangana Ranaut slams 'Cockroach Janta Party' protest, calls Gen Z reels ‘Puke-Inducing’
Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has criticised the Cockroach Janta Party protest at Jantar Mantar, calling the Gen Z protest reels "puke-inducing" and questioning the language used by protesters. She also dismissed a fake viral claim that she wanted to become India's Education Minister.
Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has openly criticised the Cockroach Janta Party’s protest at Jantar Mantar. The protest was officially called off after former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. A few days later, Kangana took to Instagram and shared a long note, expressing her anger over the protest videos and the language used by the protesters.
Kangana Calls Protest Reels ‘Puke-Inducing’In her Instagram note, Kangana wrote, “Never in my life have I seen so much ugliness in one place. These reels from Gen Z protests are puke-inducing. The way they speak and the kind of language they are using, never in my life have I seen everything in each and every frame so jarring and so crass all at once. Ewww."
She also questioned the upbringing of those involved in the protest. Kangana added, “Who is birthing and raising them? India is a place of diversely beautiful people, draped in elegance and rooted in cultural sophistication."
Continuing her criticism, she wrote, “You call yourself cockroaches and look/behave like them as well. There is no paradox or juxtaposition there, just simply subjecting the world to your filth, garbage and ugliness."
She ended her note by announcing a break from social media, writing, “I am scarred from these reels, need some healing, digital detox."
Fake Post About Education Minister Goes ViralAt the same time, a screenshot claiming that Kangana had asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make her the Education Minister started circulating on social media. However, the claim is false. Kangana never posted any such message on her Instagram Stories, and the viral screenshot is fake.
Dharmendra Pradhan’s ResignationIn his resignation letter shared on X, Dharmendra Pradhan wrote, “My young friends, for more than four decades, I have remained dedicated to students, teachers, and education reforms. I have always believed that a strong, inclusive, and visionary education system is the foundation of a strong nation."
He also said, “From the very first day, I took responsibility for the situation and never shied away from it. My resolve was that no deserving student should suffer because of examination mafias and no student should face injustice."
