Kangana Ranaut slams Sonu Sood, Taapsee Pannu ‘bhooke nange log’; says ‘I Won’t Listen To Them’
Kangana Ranaut has responded to Sonu Sood, Taapsee Pannu, Ashutosh Rana, Rakhi Sawant and Baba Ramdev, saying she will not listen to advice from people who have achieved less than her.
Kangana Ranaut has once again spoken openly about celebrities and public figures who have criticised her in the past. The actor-turned-politician took particular digs at Ashutosh Rana, Sonu Sood, Rakhi Sawant, Taapsee Pannu and Baba Ramdev. She questioned their achievements and made it clear that she would prefer to take advice from people who have achieved more than her.
Speaking to media, Kangana said, "I see such people every day, whether it is Ashutosh Rana, who says that I bark like a dog, or Sonu Sood, who says that I should learn how to behave. People like Rakhi Sawant, who makes all kinds of vulgar comments about my character, and Taapsee Pannu, who keeps insulting my parents, my upbringing and my background."
She further added, "My only message to these people is that if you have not achieved even one per cent of the success I have achieved in life, I will not listen to any advice from you."
Kangana On Ashutosh Rana And Sonu SoodKangana's latest comments come after Ashutosh Rana and Sonu Sood reacted to her controversial remarks about Gen Z protesters. Kangana had referred to Gen Z as "Generation Gutter", following which Ashutosh spoke about the need for public figures to be careful with their words.
Ashutosh had said, "I believe that a lion roars, an elephant trumpets, and a dog barks. Any living being is identified by its sound."
Sonu Sood also reacted to Kangana's statement and called it inappropriate. He said, "If she has said that, then I think it is very shameful. It should not have been said."
Kangana, however, said people such as Baba Ramdev and Ashutosh Rana were seeking publicity by attacking her. She also described them as "bhookhe, nange log" (famished and destitute people) and said she did not want to take advice from them.
Her Long-Running Differences With Taapsee PannuKangana and Taapsee Pannu have been involved in a public war of words for several years. Their differences became known in 2019 when Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel accused Taapsee of copying Kangana and called her a "sasti (cheap) copy."
The controversy later grew during debates around nepotism and insider privilege in Bollywood. Kangana had also called Taapsee and Swara Bhasker "B-grade" actors and "needy outsiders."
Taapsee responded at the time by saying that outsiders should support one another instead of targeting each other. More recently, while speaking about Kangana during her film promotions, Taapsee told India Today, "My opinion on her is reflective of my upbringing and my way of talking, my way of perceiving things and hers. She stands by hers. So, I think that’s enough for everybody to look at and decide who comes from where."
Kangana's Strong Words For Baba RamdevKangana also responded to Baba Ramdev's recent remarks and strongly criticised what she described as his comments about women.
She said, "He has crossed every boundary of decency. The kind of comments he has made about a woman have shamed society. He wears saffron clothes, and he has brought shame to them. Given the remarks he makes about women, I think he really needs to reflect on his perspective regarding women."
Kangana also made it clear that she would only consider advice from people who are more successful and respected than her. "First you become like Kangana Ranaut," she said, adding that she "can help them if they want, but I am not here to listen to them."
Kangana's Earlier 'Generation Gutter' RemarkThe latest controversy began after Kangana criticised Gen Z in a social media post. She wrote, "Here is a new generation of so-called westernized Indian women. I call them Generation Gutter. Some of them have nothing to offer to the system. They are not good at studies, but they are so ugly and corrupt that they cannot be homemakers either. Yet they proudly flaunt their freedom to have drugs, drinks, or endless body counts, and they shamelessly live off their parents’ earnings while constantly fighting to live independent lives without actually being independent."
Her comments drew reactions from several celebrities, including Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana and Rakhi Sawant.
