Veteran actress and mimicry artist Aasha Singh Jaiswal, known for playing Kripi in Mahabharat, has passed away in Mumbai. Her son Akkash Bharadwaj paid an emotional tribute to the veteran artist.
Veteran actress and mimicry artist Aasha Singh Jaiswal, who was widely known for playing Kripi in B.R. Chopra’s iconic television series Mahabharat, has passed away in Mumbai. She died on August 22 at around 7:30 pm, her son Akkash Bharadwaj confirmed. Her last rites were performed the next morning at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle West. Her death marks the loss of an artist who worked across television, films and live performances for several years.
Son Remembers His MotherAfter her death, Akkash paid an emotional tribute to his mother on Instagram. He remembered her as an “Iron Lady” and requested people to pray for her soul. He also asked fans to continue watching and remembering her work on social media. According to Akkash, acting and performing were an important part of his mother’s life, and her work remained close to her heart.
