Danish Pandor is steadily making his mark in the industry, and his latest collaboration with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is another exciting milestone in his career. Danish Pandor about Main Vaapas Aunga

Sharing how the opportunity unfolded, Danish said, "I had auditioned for this role just before the release of Dhurandhar, and interestingly, I had already shot for it before its release. It all happened at the right time, and I'm really glad it did. It was quite a memorable experience."

Small Appearance With a Big Impact

Although Danish is keeping details about his character under wraps, he promises that audiences will see a role that leaves a lasting impression. He describes it as a special appearance that plays an important part in the story.

"It's a special appearance, but it's a character that's quite significant and impactful to the story. I genuinely can't reveal much at this point because that would take away the surprise. I'd rather let the audience experience it for themselves when they watch the film in theatres," he shared.

Dream Collaboration With Imtiaz Ali

For Danish, working with Imtiaz Ali was more than just another project it was the fulfilment of a long-held dream. The actor spoke warmly about the filmmaker's creative process and the freedom he gives his actors on set.

"Working with Imtiaz sir has been an absolute privilege. You grow up watching his films and hoping that one day you'll get to work with a filmmaker like him, so when it actually happens, it's surreal. He's incredibly humble, warm and knows exactly what he wants. But at the same time, he gives actors the freedom to explore. Even the smallest tweak he suggests can completely transform a scene and make it feel fresh. Getting to share the screen with such wonderful actors under his direction is something I'll always be grateful for," Pandor said.

Star-Studded Film Hits Theatres

R. Rahman. Released in theatres on June 12, the romantic drama has been generating mixed reactions from audiences.
