The makers of Ramayana created history by taking the film to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, one of the world's biggest events for movies and pop culture. It was a rare moment for an Indian film to receive such a platform at Comic-Con, showing the growing global interest in Indian cinema.

Because of this new collaboration, the trailer was not shown during the Comic-Con panel either. The team confirmed that the trailer will now be launched worldwide at a later date so that audiences across different countries can watch it together.

Namit Malhotra Explains the Decision

Producer Namit Malhotra shared an emotional message on Instagram, calling the Sony partnership a dream come true. He said that the collaboration will help present Ramayana to the world like a major Hollywood production.

Malhotra added that this is a proud moment for Indian cinema as it will introduce India's rich culture and storytelling to global audiences. He also thanked fans for their support and assured them that the wait for the trailer would be worth it.

Interestingly, the trailer had already been shown privately to the film's cast, crew, and selected media members in Delhi last week, but it has not yet been released for the public.
