Instead of focusing only on celebrations, the Punjabi pop star and actor has chosen to use the occasion to support people affected by floods. He has stepped forward with a financial contribution to the ongoing Nepal flood relief efforts, becoming the first Punjabi artist to donate towards the cause.
Guru Randhawa supports Nepal Floods 2026 VictimsRandhawa has made a preliminary personal donation of ₹5 lakh through the Hemkunt Foundation. The contribution will support rescue operations, medical packages and emergency food distribution for people facing difficulties because of the floods in Nepal.
Earlier Support For Assam Flood VictimsThe Nepal relief contribution comes soon after Guru Randhawa extended help to flood-affected families in Assam. Earlier this month, he committed a total of ₹12 lakh towards Assam’s rehabilitation efforts.
For the immediate needs of flood victims, Randhawa partnered with the Hello Life Foundation to provide essential supplies. He also collaborated with the Sikh Aid Foundation on longer-term rehabilitation work. As part of the effort, 35 permanent flood-proof houses and 100 cycles were planned for displaced families.
His support for both Nepal and Assam highlights his effort to contribute to relief work beyond his music career and reach people affected by natural disasters.
