SonyLIV's Real Kashmir Football Club has been nominated for Best Drama Series, while comedian Vir Das has earned another nomination for his Netflix stand-up special Fool Volume in the Comedy category.
Real Kashmir Football Club is inspired by the true story of Real Kashmir FC, the first professional football club from Jammu and Kashmir. The series stars Manav Kaul and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and premiered on SonyLIV in December 2025.
Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and Mahesh Mathai, the show tells the story of how hope and football came together after the devastating 2014 Kashmir floods. The real club was founded in 2016 by businessman Sandeep Chattoo and journalist Shamim Meraj, whose journey is shown through fictional characters in the series.
