Popular playback singer Mika Singh was felicitated by Delhi Police for his outstanding contribution to promoting anti-drug awareness during a grand public event held at Kartavya Path, India Gate, on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

Organized as part of the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign, the mega awareness event brought together senior government officials, Delhi Police officers, artists, and members of the public to spread the message of a healthier and drug-free society. The highlight of the evening was Mika Singh's energetic live performance, which captivated the audience while reinforcing the campaign's powerful message against substance abuse.

Known for his vibrant stage presence and chart-topping hits, Mika Singh used the platform to encourage young people to make positive life choices and stay away from drugs. The event was graced by Shri Govind Mohan, Union Home Secretary, Government of India, along with senior officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Delhi Police. Addressing the gathering, Shri Govind Mohan reiterated the Government's commitment to creating a drug-free India and highlighted the devastating consequences of substance abuse on individuals, families, and society. He called upon citizens, especially the youth, to actively participate in building a safer and healthier nation.

Apart from Mika Singh's performance, the programme featured a stirring musical presentation by the Delhi Police Band, an impactful pantomime depicting the dangers of drug addiction, and an Anti-Drug Painting Exhibition showcasing creative expressions by young participants. Performers and contributors were also felicitated for their exceptional efforts in strengthening the awareness campaign.
