Who killed Haryanvi Singer Ankit Balyan? 4 shooters suspected as police investigates Gang links

Haryanvi singer Ankit Balyan was shot dead near a gym in Shamli, according to reports. Police said Balyan had completed his workout and was close to his car when unidentified attackers opened fire.

Reports suggest that three to four attackers were involved in the shooting. Balyan was allegedly surrounded and repeatedly shot. Some bullets reportedly hit his car and nearby walls.

Attackers Escaped on Two Bikes

According to reports, four suspected shooters arrived on two motorcycles. As the road near the gym was narrow, they reportedly parked the bikes near the main road. After the attack, the suspects allegedly ran back to the motorcycles and escaped in different directions, with two people on each bike. One bike reportedly used internal city routes, while the other moved towards the Hanuman Dham side.

Police surveillance teams reportedly traced the suspects' last known location near the Loni border in Ghaziabad. Police are working with teams from Delhi and Loni to identify and arrest the attackers.

Comparison With Sidhu Moose Wala Murder

Some reports have compared the planning of the attack with the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The comparison is based on reports that the attackers waited for Balyan and carried out a planned shooting. However, there is no official confirmation of any direct connection between Balyan's murder and the Sidhu Moose Wala case.

Gogi Gang Claims Responsibility

A social media post from an account reportedly linked to the Gogi gang claimed responsibility for the killing. The post alleged that Balyan was in contact with the gang's rivals and had composed a song related to an incident involving the group. However, the authenticity of the post and the gang's involvement are still under police investigation.

Gang Links and Motive Under Investigation

Police are also investigating possible links to the Kala Rana gang and other criminal groups. According to reports, investigators suspect that shooters connected to criminal networks from Punjab and Haryana may have been involved.

The STF has also been asked to assist in the investigation. Police are currently focused on identifying the shooters, tracing their escape route and establishing the exact motive behind Ankit Balyan's murder. The investigation remains ongoing, and the full details are yet to be officially confirmed.
