Sophie Turner sues ex husband Joe Jonas for not sending the children back to England; Deets inside

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner has surely baffled the headlines this month with their 'partying-ways' decision. After spending a wholesome of four years together, the Jonas singer Joe Jonas decided to part ways from his wife Sophie Turner. The singer filed for divorce from his wife and made a decision after a ongoing disruption in their marriage life on Florida’s 'Miami-Dade County Court'. The couple married in 2019 also has two children together, two girl child, one born in 2020 and another just a year ago.

Sophie sued Joe Jonas

Recently, The 'Game of Thrones' fame Sophie Turner had a heated argument with Joe and after-results made her sue lawsuit against him. According to BBC, Joe has refused to return their children back to England with mom, to which Turner's lawyer cited 'wrongful detention' of the two daughters. Now, as Sophie has sued her ex-husband Joe, according to her he made a false claim in the divorce application of their children living in Florida for past six months, contrary to which, both of them made England their home in April this year.


The heated dispute

Both the stars sat together last week to discuss and reach at a conclusion of their previously agreed plans of returning the children to home but as per the petition, Joe even after having the girl's passports refused to hand them over Sophie back to England, thus breaching mother's right of custody according to English law. Not only this, The British actor's lawyer also used child abduction clauses under Hague Convention which is an international treaty adopted by more than 100 countries, including the US, aimed for compelling the children to return back with a parent into their 'habitual resident'.

However reacting to the lawsuit filed against Joe, the singer also reverted disputes against her claims alongside a representative about a court in Florida which has blocked either of the parents relocation the children.  


The reason for separation

The filed report under the court stated, "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." Few sources however tried put light on the possibility of their 'poles apart' personality, that could might have been a cause for the starry couple to take such a big decision. As per a source received by Page Six, it stated, "Divorce was a last resort for Joe. He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls." it also revealed the tough moments both of them were going through from the last six months and Joe finally reached a point where he felt completely lost, "It just kept building, and Joe finally reached a point where he felt that he had exhausted all options to salvage the marriage," it continued.
