Parmish Verma is stepping into the food industry with his first-ever fast-food venture. Known for his work as a singer, actor and filmmaker, the Punjabi star is now adding a new chapter to his entrepreneurial journey. He is bringing global fast-casual brand German Doner Kebab (GDK) to India as a Founding Partner and Cultural Partner.
From Kitchen Work to BusinessFor Parmish, this venture is also connected to his early days in Australia. While studying hotel management, he worked in kitchens and restaurants during his struggling days. He has shared that he learned to cook partly out of necessity, as it helped him manage his food and expenses. Cooking also became a way for him to stay calm, and even today, he often cooks for his team and family.
Now, his experience with kitchens has taken him in a completely new direction. Reflecting on the journey, Parmish wrote, "From working in a Kitchen to Owning a few. Life Full Circle".

German Doner Kebab officially entered the Indian market in August 2026 with its first flagship outlet in Hyderabad. Parmish is closely involved in bringing the brand to India along with Ginny Sahni, Vikrant Tomer and Hashita Sahni.
