Punjab-born Pallavi Mukhija from Goraya, Jalandhar, has been crowned Mrs Canada World 2026 after defeating nearly 60 contestants in the national pageant.

Pallavi Mukhija, originally from Goraya in Punjab's Jalandhar district and now based in Canada, has been crowned Mrs Canada World 2026. She won the prestigious title during the national pageant held on July 25 at the Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey, British Columbia.

Victory Over 60 Contestants

Pallavi emerged victorious in a competition featuring nearly 60 contestants from across Canada. The participants were judged through multiple rounds that assessed confidence, personality, elegance, and stage presence. Her impressive performance secured her the coveted crown, making the Punjabi community proud both in Canada and back home in Punjab.

During the ceremony, outgoing Mrs Canada World Fallon Shilanthi crowned Pallavi, while Sammy, recognised for her Save the Mothers advocacy, presented her with the winner's sash amid loud applause.

A Nurse with a Purpose

Beyond the glamour of pageantry, Pallavi is a Registered Nurse working in long-term care. She is deeply committed to promoting the mental and emotional well-being of senior citizens and advocates for ensuring they feel respected, heard, and valued.
