When and Where Will Diljit Dosanjh Perform in Chandigarh?

Diljit Dosanjh's Chandigarh concert is proposed for December 12, 2026, as part of his Aura India Tour. The performance is planned at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh. The stadium, which belongs to the Punjab Cricket Association, has a capacity of around 38,000 spectators. Special Security Arrangements Requested for Diljit

Preparations for the much-awaited concert have also brought security arrangements into focus. The organisers have approached the Chandigarh and Punjab Police, requesting additional protection for Diljit during his December 12 performance. According to the letter sent by the organisers, there are concerns about possible disruptions at the concert venue. They have requested six armed commandos and two personal security officers to accompany the artiste. The security plan also includes arrangements for his airport arrival and departure, including charter flights, escort vehicles and protected travel routes. Police presence has been requested at his hotel throughout his stay, as well as at the stadium during rehearsals and on the concert day.

The organisers have further requested additional protection if necessary, depending on the security assessment. They have offered to cover the expenses under government rules and are willing to discuss the arrangements directly with the authorities.
