Veteran journalist and educationist Swaran Singh Bhangu, husband of Punjabi actress Gurpreet Kaur Bhangu, passes away at 68. His body will be donated to PGIMER Chandigarh for medical research.

His wife, renowned Punjabi actress Gurpreet Kaur Bhangu, confirmed that her husband had expressed his wish to donate his body for medical education and research. Honoring that commitment, the family will hand over his body to PGIMER Chandigarh, where it will contribute to the training of future doctors and advancement of medical science.

Members of the public and well-wishers will be able to pay their respects on June 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Kang Memorial Institute, Bassi Gujjran. Final respects can also be paid at Adarsh Bhawan, Sri Chamkaur Sahib, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Following the tribute gatherings, his family and loved ones will take his body to PGIMER Chandigarh, ensuring that his final wish is fulfilled.
