The much-awaited T20 cricket extravaganza, Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, is all set to begin with a grand opening ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The tournament will be played across 12 different venues, with the opening match and the final both scheduled to take place at the same venue in Ahmedabad.

In the last season of IPL, debutants Gujarat Titans won the tournament, with their skipper Hardik Pandya leading the way. However, the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings had a disappointing season, finishing in ninth place. This year, the team will be led by MS Dhoni, and there are rumors circulating that he may retire after IPL 2023.
