Aryan Khan allowed to travel abroad: The Mumbai court on Wednesday authorised the release of actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's passport, which came as a relief to him. As part of the bail terms in the cruise-drugs case, the travel paperwork was in the court's possession.

Aryan Khan and five other people were released by the NCB because there was "insufficient proof."

Aryan had submitted a request for the return of his passport earlier this month before a special NDPS court. The Narcotics Control Bureau cleared him of all charges related to the cruise drug case last year in May. The NCB took Aryan's passport while conducting the investigation, but the Bombay High Court granted him bail in October 2021.

On May 27, the NCB submitted a 6,000-page chargesheet against 14 defendants in the case, but Aryan's name was not included. "In light of the fact that Aryan Khan was not identified in the chargesheet, it was improper to arrest him and imprison him for 26 days, especially because no drugs of any type were discovered on him. Except for the NDPS Act, there was no proof of any type and no material of any kind that violated any laws. We are pleased that Sanjay Kumar Singh, who is in charge of the NCB SIT, conducted a thorough investigation of the situation and decided against filing a case against Aryan Khan for a lack of solid evidence "Aryan Khan's lawyer Satish Maneshinde had claimed.

For the unversed, NCB detained Aryan Khan on October 3 of last year after conducting a raid on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.
