B Praak has made everyone proud by being a part of the 67th National Film Awards ceremony. The singer was not only present at the ceremony, but he was also honoured with the National Award for Best Male Playback Singer for his heartfelt vocals in 'Teri Mitti' from 'Kesari’.
B Praak is currently feeling very emotional and has taken to his social media handle to express himself.
'Teri Mitti,' a song by B Praak, brought a lump to the nation's throat as it made everyone feel for the fallen heroes and their supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. The song, written by Manoj Muntashir and composed by Arko, was the highlight of the 2019 war film 'Kesari.'
While expressing his happiness B Praak quoted, "It has been a year full of things to be grateful for," the singer said of his big win. But, of all the highlights, this one stands out the most. I'm completely overwhelmed. It's a surreal moment for me, and I feel so blessed that we as a team created a song that has such a strong resonance with a nation."
"Today will always remain a precious day in my career," he says, adding that this moment will be etched in his heart forever. Every artist wants to be recognized, and there is no greater honour than the National Award."
He also posted a video while his name was being called at the ceremony and him receiving the award, followed by a photo. Sharing the same sentiment, he wrote in the caption, "Thank u to the respected national awards🙏🙏🙏 as i post this i am filled with tears and gratitude .. will continue working harder to keep winning your love congrats to team Terimitti And My Family Friends My Fans!!!!!!❤️❤️🙏🙏❤️❤️"
